Horizons for Homeless Children held its 12th Annual Recognition and Awards Dinner recently at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel in Boston. The event acknowledged the hundreds of Playspace Activity Leaders (PALs), volunteers who spend time with homeless children each week, as well as the companies, partnering agencies and staff who support Horizons for Homeless Children in their efforts to improve the quality of life for homeless children.
The event included featured speaker Governor Deval Patrick who spoke to the importance of supporting the mission and work of Horizons for Homeless Children. In attendance at the event were over 400 people who traveled to Boston from all over Massachusetts to celebrate the accomplishments of the organization over the last year and receive recognition for their diligence and commitment to Horizons for Homeless Children.
