What is the mission of the Young Professionals Group?
The Horizons for Homeless Children Young Professionals Group is dedicated to supporting HHC by way of raising awareness and fundraising. The group focuses on encouraging young professionals throughout Massachusetts to dedicate their time and themselves to addressing the issue of homeless children and their families and their move towards self-sufficiency.
What does the Group do?
The Young Professionals Group holds a number of professional networking and social events throughout the year. Members also volunteer with HHC throughout the year. They are very involved in fundraising and in building awareness of the important work being done across the state.
Event Highlights
Most recently, the Young Professionals Group hosted the 1st Route for Kids 5K, a run/walk to benefit homeless children and their families. It took place in South Boston on May 16 and raised more than $25K! |
